Madrid has several spots where you can rent gear for your vacation experience. There is no need to drive a car and miss all the good stuff. Rent a bike or maybe even a scooter if you want to travel around quicker. You could even sign up for a bike tour which will take you around the Segway or bike trail. Feeling energetic? You could always join a running tour such as Madrid Sightrunning. Get some good exercise while exploring Madrid. There are a few golf courses if you enjoy the outdoors. There are many beautiful parks to let them run around and wear themselves out. You could take them to Retiro Park or Madrid Rio. Madrid has nine different malls to choose from so you are sure to find a few stores to fit your style. Looking for a different type of purchase? Try one of the art galleries and bring a work of art home with you. You could also join a shopping tour if you aren’t sure what you are looking to buy. There’s nothing wrong with just window shopping. There are several theaters to catch a movie and snack on some popcorn. If you like real theater you could attend an opera at Gran Teatro Ruedo Las Ventas.

El Rey Leon is a popular performance to catch. If you want something a little calmer you could try out the ballet performances at Ballet Flamenco de Madrid.
